Get Involved in the Life of the Greensprings: Join FOG’s Board!

Greetings! At our Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 8th, we announced that we’re inviting nominations for community members interested in serving on FOG’s Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in getting involved with our community, please consider nominating yourself, or suggesting someone you think would be good. Please contact one of our board members if you want more information about what it’s like to be on our board.

Here are some details about the process.

FOG Board Nomination/Selection Process 2024

Bylaws state that 3 board members will be selected from the membership at large.

If we have more than 3 new board members, great! The more the merrier.

• All persons wishing to be considered for the board must complete form and return to FOG board. Nomination forms will be collected June 9-June 29.

• Persons wishing to nominate an individual other than themselves can submit a form with that person’s name on it.

• Contact information must be complete on all nomination forms. Incomplete forms are invalid.

• Nomination forms will also be placed on our website. They can be returned to FOG Board either by regular mail or by email.

• Deadline for nominations is June 29.

• Nomination forms to be reviewed by FOG board and slate of candidates placed on a ballot.

• Ballots mailed to all FOG members on July 1. Return envelopes inserted in mailing.

• Deadline for returned ballots is July 27.

• FOG Secretary should be the person responsible for receiving and counting ballots. Board to support and assist.

• New board members to be determined by August 1.

• New board members to join current board at August FOG board meeting.
